FUSE LINK
A Fuse Link is a replaceable protective component designed to disconnect an electrical circuit when excessive current flows. When a fault or overload occurs, the fuse element melts, safely breaking the circuit and preventing damage to connected equipment.
Commonly used in solar PV and battery storage systems, fuse links provide protection for DC circuits, inverters, batteries, and distribution equipment. They are available in different ratings and sizes to match specific system requirements and are typically installed within fuse switch disconnectors or fuse holders.
