These robust stainless steel hooks are designed to anchor mounting rails to roof rafters for solar panel installations. This model is compatible exclusively with flat tiles, plain tiles, rosemary tiles, biscuit tiles, or peg tiles. For installation, remove a few tiles from the roof's exterior, then fasten the hook to a rafter, orienting it downward, using the provided tek screws. Plywood spacers can be added to achieve proper clearance from the tile surface. Replace the tiles around the hook afterward. For optimal weather resistance, use flashing or the Genius Solarflash system. Some installers also opt for Hookstops to enhance stability.
