The Power Ocean 5kW batteries and Ocean 2 5.02kW batteries are cross compatible when connected to the Ocean 2 or Ocean 2 Plus inverters, however when mixing batteries it is not recommended to use this battery base. The Power Ocean battery base should be used instead for both stacks of batteries. The Power Ocean batteries will also need to be placed at the bottom of the stack with the Ocean 2 batteries on top.
